UGA Games Becoming a Fashion Scene

Georgia fans don’t just know football, or how to woof with the team. We also know how to look good while doing it. It pays to be well-rounded. In fiery red and midnight black, Bulldawg nation is fashion forward and are hip to all the trends. We love seeing the creativity and the great style the fans have. We know what it looks like through our lens, but what is Bulldawg fashion to you? We would LOVE to see pics of your Game Day outfits, from jerseys to sweatshirts, from jeans to dresses. Send us your Game Day fashion best!

UGA Football Memories Last a Lifetime

We couldn’t tell you how many people we’ve photographed that bleed that Georgia Red. So many of us support The University of Georgia and make sure to keep the Bulldawg spirit alive.

We’ve had clients in jerseys, only red and black, and even a bride kiss the Uga statue. We love capturing Bulldawg fans on film, but we’ll  love to see what you consider your favorite Bulldawg moment or memory. We want to hear stories, see photos, the whole nine. GO DAWGS!!!

Indian Culture Meets American Tradition

When we first met this bride and her mom, we were captured by her beauty and quiet nature.  They were planning an interesting blended event, Indian culture meets American tradition.  The entire weekend took place at a local vineyard (Chateau Elan), which provided an organic break between the bright colored Indian feast of the rehearsal dinner and the elegant, glamorous wedding itself, complete with a big band After Five String Quartet..  And when I say big, I mean big…..at least 40 musicians, a la Benny Goodman.  Amazing.

Having photographed many Indian weddings, we never cease to be enthralled with the pomp and ceremony of their culture.  The colors, the fabrics, the beautiful men and women in classic garb.  And then to turn the tables completely the next day and see this gorgeous couple (really, really pretty together) in their gowns and tuxedos was very special.  Lauren artfully played up the red in both events to tie them together, compete with a Georgia Bulldog ring bearer (a great surprise for the groom!).  The sight of their guests swaying on the dance floor to the sound of a big band, rich table decorations of deep, bright flowers and softly flickering candles was a picture I won’t soon forget.

Thanks for sharing this weekend and your lives with us.  We considered it an honor to capture it for you as beautifully as it appeared.

The last word in photography

ZoomWorks Photography….where to begin? First of all we love photography, we love people and we love the opportunity to capture someones essence, spirit and true emotions with our camera.
The “we” of ZoomWorks is our amazing team. Headed by Founders Shannah Cahoe Montgomery and Marisu Wehrenberg. Their respective backgrounds in fine art, photojournalism, fashion and styling led to the ZoomWorks vision and guides everything we do. Our extremely talented associates Deanna Pieniaszek and Alex Martinez, and our crew of faithful and amazing assistant photographers bring their own unique flair to the team.

We spend a lot of time at weddings and LOVE them. It’s not the kind of thing you can do half-heartedly, and certainly not for the 7 years and more than 1000 weddings we’ve photographed since the founding of ZoomWorks in 2000.

Traveling to destination weddings is always a pleasure, and can also present a unique set of challenges… but it’s always worth it when we get back amazing images! This year we’ve spent time on the Florida and Georgia coasts and in St. Thomas. Highlights have included the breathtaking views from the cliffs on St. Thomas, with the couple looking so amazing and radiating such pure, beautiful love that it could eclipse the natural beauty around them. There was the great beach party in Treasure Island, Fl and those gorgeous Gulf sunsets.  -Marisu and Shannah
