BridalStyle Series – THE HOLLYWOOD BRIDE

Old black and white movies have always intrigued us, with their brilliant use of lighting, makeup techniques and fabulous form fitting gowns cut on the bias.  The stage at The Melting Point at The Foundry Park Inn, a premiere wedding venue,  just cried out for a wedding siren – and so we created a smokey speakeasy with a glamorous couple taking center stage.

Caitlin was the perfect sultry glamour girl in a sexy silhouette gown from I DO I DO Bridal along with her bird cage veil and ear ring bling.  (Her necklace and rings are REAL from a private collection!  Diamonds are a girls best friend, after all!)  Her handsome groom, Justus, was her perfect complement, wearing the new narrow cut tuxedo from Pernos Formal Wear.  Silver fabric was used on the tables to reflect the soft light and European Floral Designs incorporated that silver and shiny theme throughout the floral displays, with rhinestone ribbons and beautiful white on white floral groupings dotted with red red red.  Her purse bouquet was a great touch!  And of course we love candles….the more the merrier.  European Floral provided elegant stands to fill out the stage.

To bring the Hollywood bride into the 21st century, Stephanie from A La Fera Salon took inspiration from the 40’s starlet and really brought her A game with this amazing hairstyle.  Soft, yet secure, we would love to see a bride wear this look for her wedding day.   Beautiful brows, sleek liner and red red lips complete the look (makeup by Marisu of ZoomWorks.)

This whole theme makes us feel rich and famous……….and it’s a perfect winter wedding design, with all the shiny baubles and the red and white accents.   How have you seen the holiday season incorporated into a wedding in a unique way?
