Kendall and Ben began planning their wedding early – they knew what they wanted. Kendall, a wonderful storm of organized chaos and beauty, was a delight through the whole process. Ben, a huge music lover, business man and band member, just wanted it to be fun and for the music to be ‘live’ and keep everyone on the dance floor. No one was disappointed.
Of course the Foundry’s Melting Point provided the perfect backdrop for a live band, and the Highballs brought the house down. There was even an after party, and the groom had his chance to take the stage with his band, but we didn’t stay for that. Sometimes you just have to know when it’s time to fold. But we heard it was a blast. And the neat thing about the night, in addition to the great food and music, was that there were three other brides that we had worked with over the last decade, who were all friends of Kendall and so were in attendance at her wedding. SO much fun to see them all again, together, and laugh and reminisce about great times we’ve had. It was a privilege to be with them all in one place and to know that their trust was why we were there to begin with.
Lots of really novel ideas to carry out the music theme, perfect weather and a wonderful group of friends and family. What more could you ask for? Except maybe a beautiful couple. And we got that too!
