ST LAWRENCE SEAWAY AND VIEW OF CANADA

Can we just say that we love what we do?

When business takes us to gorgeous destinations like the St Lawrence River, with panoramic view of the Canadian border, we are so happy.  Having never been to this part of our country, we just soaked it all in as we scouted the area.  The couple, whose families hail from Canada, live in Athens, but decided to go north for their wedding celebration so that more of their families would have less distance to travel to help them celebrate on their wedding day.

The actual ceremony site was an island in the middle of the river, in a castle (fashioned after one he fancied in Scotland) built by an employee of the Singer Company (yes, as in Singer Sewing Machines).  The area nicknamed The Land of 10.000 islands, was the playground of millionaires at the turn of the century, and remnants of their ‘high life’ still remain, like this amazing home turned event venue.

The weekend flew by with perfect weather, and we are so looking forward to sharing more of Kelly and Adam’s story and photos with you.  Have you ever been to a wedding in a castle?
