Crystal and Joe chose to have their wedding at a vineyard to play up their fondness for the south and also because they had never been to a wedding in a vineyard and thought it would be something fun for their family and friends. Choosing a vineyard set the tone for color palette and easy style – shade of purple to play off the grapes in the flowers and decor, mixed with vintage details to include Crystals’ love for antiques. And of course, a country girl at heart, she opted to keep it relaxed for the reception so the girls could done their own cowboy boots. Nice contrast, don’t you think?
Her gown, by Mori Lee, to which she added a sash by the same designer to sparkle it up a bit, fit her perfectly. The cake was as tasty as it was gorgeous topped with a shining ‘T’ for Telford. There were different flavors of cheesecake in each layer so that everyone had a choice. And if that wasn’t enough, there was a candy bar, cake pops and other sweet delights. We knew where the children were for the rest of the night!
To add a personal note to the event, Crystal, along with two aunts, handmade the take away gifts for all the guests: yummy jars of grape jelly. The band, The Retreat Band, was a refreshing twist of very talented young musicians and they kept the dance floor hopping.
At the end of a perfect day, guests grabbed sparklers to light the way for the couple as they got into their vintage Bentley getaway car. Dreams do come true!!! What’s your idea of a Dream Wedding?
