Done in five minutes or less….seriously
We all think about putting that extra effort into face and hair before running out the door, but with such busy schedules, it’s not always possible.  To keep you looking great even when you think you can’t, here are some fun ideas to consider:

Hair – keep it simple,  Braids are back in a big way, as a ‘hairband’ to capture bangs that are growing out or just keep hair off your face in the heat.  Start the braid at your part, and work it over to the opposite temple, tying off the end with a pretty band or tucking it behind the ear and securing it with a couple of hair pins.  Or pull all your hair over to one side (you don’t really even have to brush it thoroughly – messy is ‘hot’), and braid it all, tying it off with a clear band.  A bit of product such as KMS California Hairplay Sea Salt Spray, sprayed in hair and then scrunched and blasted with a blow dryer for a minute ) helps give hair texture and volume.  Another product we like is Jonathan Product Spray Dirt (yep!) Texture Hold Hairspray.  Provides texture and hold.  And ponytails are still very fashionable, low or high, depending on your face shape.  Piecing out a few loose bangs gives it a bit of romance, especially for evening.

Makeup – if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.  If you have great skin, don’t cover it up with foundation.  Use a pressed powder with good pigment (mineral makeup is great for this), and use concealer just for the problem areas, ie under eyes or that occasional breakout.  A bit of blush over the ‘apples’ in your cheeks, and temples keeps your face bright.  Don’t go too heavy with bronzer….it can scream fake quicker than anything.  Nars blush in Orgasm adds a bit of shimmer and a healthy flush.  Finish with a great gloss that has SPF, and you’re good to go.  Allure’s Readers Choice Award in this category went to Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Softsilver Rose and M.A.C.’s Lustre Lipstick in Viva Glam V.
